Description

At the 23rd session of WIPO's Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights, FSFE will work with national delegates from around the world to improve conditions for the sharing of knowledge. Negotiations will center on a possible "Broadcasting Treaty", a plan to introduce a new kind of copyright which companies can acquire merely by distributing a movie, image, text or program.
